If you are a beginner they do not slow down most of the sayings or words enough for you to grasp them. As someone who has been learning for a little bit it’s easy to mix up different sounds because Russian is a rather quick language.
Also they seemed to change between having the phrase come before the pronunciation and then to pronunciation coming before the phrase which can be very confusing for a newer learner. Or any learner in general.
