This is a lovely collection of children's stories from various authors. The stories are all classics and speak for themselves, not much else to say about them. The narration was okay. Carol Mintz read at a nice pace with a clear voice. However, I would have liked a bit more variety with the characters' voices. Fortunately, children aren't always as picky as adults. My children enjoyed hearing the different stories.

Beware of Chapter 8!
“Bluebeard” is a tale I wasn’t familiar with. The story was frightening and too graphic for younger listeners. My imaginative 7 year old was terrified. The other stories were fine, but downloading the free versions of some of these classics would have been a better choice than spending the credit.

No music. Just a narrator lady. But she is not bad. She doesn’t do character voices. Just wanted to say this in case someone wants to know.

This collection includes classic stories of varying lengths. They are entertaining for adults, not too over-the-top cute but also not too violent or graphic for kids. For example, in the story of Cinderella, the stepsister is told to cut off her toe to try to fit the glass slipper. It’s not described by any means.

This would be great for family road trips or at bedtime. My family is happy to have this added to our collection.

Some of these stories claim to be Disney stories, but are more horror and demons added to the stories. A lot of death added as well, not familiar with all of the “kid” stories.

Too dark and graphic for kids

First I’ll just go ahead and say that I received this title for free in exchange for unbiased review. That being said I asked for this specific title for my 7 year old daughter to try. And we listened to two stories each night before bed together and she very much enjoyed them and fell fast asleep afterwards. When I asked what she thought of them the next morning she said she loved them and is asking for more. It’s also great for in the car on long drives. If you have small children I would definitely recommend they would be well worth the credit.

My family loved it! This book has a collection of so many classic favorites, you can't go wrong by getting it. The narration was great. It will keep you entertained. I will be looking for more books like this. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
