Acerca de esta escucha

Jane Eyre, an orphan, has to suffer appalling conditions when she is sent away to a correctional school. She lands on her feet, or so it seems, when she becomes adult and obtains a job working for Mr Rochester, a brooding and formidable man who initially scares her, but whom she begins to warm to. At the same time, strange things are happening in the house. What is Adele, his ward, afraid of? And what are the strange banging noises coming from the attic at night time?

A thrilling story with elements of mystery, but overall a classic romance, this story has a bit of everything and is altogether brilliant.

I absolutely love this story, and when comparing to Jane Austen’s books it makes me so happy because I feel like there is so much more depth to these characters. It’s more than a romance. They are learning about themselves. Love it. And I loved the reader.
All this aside...is this the abridged version and it just doesn’t say? Because it was missing major scenes. The proposal from Saint John, the gypsy scene, the death of Helen, her friend as an orphan. I was very sad to have missed these scenes, and would just like to know for sure that I’m not crazy - is it abridged?

Love this book so much...but is it abridged?
