Ashley Eckstein grew up inspired by all things Disney. She launched Her Universe, an apparel company catering to fan girls, which has become a preferred partner for Disney and their girl-power initiative.

In It's Your Universe, Ashley tells her story of being a little girl dreaming of being on a Disney stage, voicing the first female Jedi, Ahsoka Tano, and starting Her Universe, a blockbuster clothing line and community for fan girls.

With prompts for personal reflection and quotes from iconic Disney characters, Ashley shows how princesses, Jedis, and superheroes were great role models for choosing her own path.

I listened to this at work and i love every minute of the book.

Just listned to a military thriller before this but I would say this book has more excitment and a lot more love in it.

My friends recommended this book to me. They kept telling me “You have to read this!” “It’s amazing!” I kept pushing it off and finally decided it was time. All I’m going to say is I wish I read this sooner! Ashley’s story is so inspiring! I already believed in manifestation but to hear how she does it had me look at it all a new way! And I loved how she weaved in and out how Disney characters inspired her! Disney has always been a huge part of my life and to hear how the stories can push me to achieve anything is amazing! Please read/listen to this book! You won’t regret it! You will realize just how magical you can be!

I just finished listening to the audiobook of Her Universe. My daughter is homeschooled, and she’s in the sixth grade. She and I both loved listening to this book. We also got the book, in print, as it has lots of amazing pictures in it a d things to fill out. She loved reading along while we listened. My son is in 8th Grade and several times I noticed that he was listening and very interested as well. The art and photos in the book are also fun, magical and helpful. Meanwhile, I loved hearing both the story and the advice that is given.

I enjoyed this book! While like several other 'push yourself forward booms' I really enjoyed the Disney references. It makes me want to rewatch lots of Disney movies and look for deeper messages. Such a great book. Thanks Ashley for taking the time to tell your story and for standing up for Fan Girls!

I’ve been a fan of Eckstien since Star Wars the Clone Wars. Ahsoka has been a huge influence on me for how strong she is in knowing what she wants. Eckstien is no exception to this rule. Wonderful book. Weill definitely be listening/reading again!!

It’s our universe is a lovely book. It details, the experience Ashley Eckstein had from her youth growing up in Orlando, Florida to moving to LA, meeting husband, David, starting a fashion closing line and beyond. It is a tale of hard work, and hope. Hope is what gets us through the day. I am profoundly grateful that she’s not only wrote this story but that she reads it also. Thank you, Ashley for being a light in a world that needs it so much. May her experiences inspire us all.
