Acerca de esta escucha
The best of the golden age crime writers, praised by all the top modern writers in the field including P. D. James and Ruth Rendell, Dorothy L. Sayers created the immortal Lord Peter Wimsey. The 14th book featuring Lord Peter is a collection of short stories: 17 little masterpieces of crime writing.
In In the Teeth of the Evidence, all that was left of the garage was a heap of charred and smouldering beams. In the driving seat of the burnt-out car were the remains of a body.... An accident, said the police. An accident, said the widow. She had been warning her husband about the danger of the car for months. Murder, said the famous detective Lord Peter Wimsey - and proceeded to track down the killer.

Some very good short stories

How did the narrator detract from the book?
Personally, I'd prefer Ian Carmichael to narrate all Dorothy L Sayers' books, but if that's not possible there must be someone better than Jane McDowell. Her timing is poor and her delivery very stilted, in my view.New narrator required
