Waste of time
The virtual voice misses obvious nuances that a human reader would have picked up on as well as the fact it mispronounces names and a few words here and there. The book heavily relies on ChatGPT for the writing and the author never bothered to edit or correct anything that was written. To many repeated terms within the same paragraph, odd uses of persuasion tactics at the ends of chapters, and a style that would be more suited to junior high/high school levels of reading, if not for the subject matter.
The book comes off more like a badly researched ninth grade essay on crime, trying to make obvious points in rather sophomoric terms rather than an actual adult writer who did the research and used their own words/vocabulary who actually the time to write a book on crime. Lazy writing, poor editing, and poor narration. A perfect example of why ChatGPS should only be used to assist in writing and not actually writing an entire book with little to no human intervention.
