What a great message for a short story. What is happiness? Is it different for others? And how a young girl learns from her future possible versions of herself learns that message.

great story of learning from what you could become

The story is very well written and brings out the emotional tears. The narrator does very well and has a large range of voice acting ability. Would recommend for any audiobook veteran.

Amazing

It's funny. This story contains at least one element that I, and probably others, would associate with hack writing in that it is super cliche. However, I consider the author to be anything but a hack. Her stories are wonderful and she is a genius storyteller. After all, only a genius could twist a cliche into something so moving. She is a master at conveying the driving forces of her characters and she always seems to weeve multilayered stories with great skill.

If she had a flaw, I would only suggest that someone else should choose her book titles for her as they often seem off-putting to me, although I will admit that this one was perfect for the book AFTER I had read it. but the purpose of a title is to draw in and entice people who know nothing of the book, so maybe she should consider that in the future. After all, she has a book titled "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas." I mean, come on. Who told her that was a good title?

Anyway, this is a fabulous book with a main character reminiscent of Anne of Greene Gables. She is smart for her age, very sweet in general, and gets along better with adults than her peers because of her intelligence. I think you will instantly love her so please give this book a read. I think both the author and her stories deserve appreciation.

A wonderful journey of questioning and realizing where happiness comes from. Performance perfectly captures the tone and pace of the novel.

Sentimental philosophical journey

Quirky and intelligent girl ponders elementary class assignment: What is Happiness? With busy parents and without friends her own age, she interacts mainly with a cat and three seemingly different women that share many similarities to her youthful self. Through these interactions, she helps them and herself.

I like the narrator as she plays a mature young girl very well. I also like the story as the plot seems straightforward, the inclusion of unobvious mystical dreams made for an unexpected twist in the story. The story also has a good message.
