I was extremely excited to learn the basics of how to start a lucrative vending machine business.

I'll start with the pros of this book, if you've never been a business owner or have experience helping a business as a startup, , this book is great for a generalized explanation of basic list items you may need to know.

Unfortunately this book does not go into debt in a step-by-step process of obtaining a machine managing a machine, the systems that should be in place for security and supply monitoring/trend monitoring. Overall this book is a high level oerview. Too many redundant paragraphs without detailed elaboration.

l'd suggest you look for another book if you want a detailed step-by-step of what you do to get started.

Wow. this isn't what it claims. the first part of the book is an intro to vending machines. Really? I can't even think of who would need to be told what a vending machine is, especially if that person is considering starting a vending machine business. When it gets to the industry advice portion, this book is over simplistic, it was written by AI or an alien who doesn't understand context. Everyone i know understands that location is a big consideration for a business that will rely on foot traffic, but this book goes into how location is a big factor in the success of your future business. But, wait, let's take a look at what it says. airports are good, bus stations are good, laundromats are good. so far so good. but then it says that malls are good. they were back in the 80s and early 90s. So now I'm questioning the validity of the rest of the information, and I realized that I can't even tell you where the closest bus station is. This was a free audio book and I listened to it at work, so even though I was paid to listen to it I'm still disappointed by the experience. I gained no new information about vending machines or about running a business bassed off of them. But don't take my word for it, grab this item and learn that people can buy drinks from machines by using coins, bills, or credit cards.
