Flocksdale has an evil, ugly past - and history has a way of repeating itself...

As she searches for answers, Marianna wonders if the malevolence still lingers, somehow alive...and how her stepdad came to own the House of Horrors.

Caught up in twisted family ties and surrounded by deceit, Marianna is targeted by a new generation of evil. Will Marianna survive long enough to bring the evil to light?

Or will she be trapped in the house of the lost girls forever?

I was completely entranced by the first book in the series but the second was disappointing. It definitely had the potential to be another phenomenal story but unfortunately it seemed very rushed. There was no emotional roller coaster or intensity like the first book. Hopefully the third in the serious is better.

Still made me want to keep listening but fell flat, rushed, at times boring. First one was so good. This one didn’t have that excitement.

This could have been a great book/series. However they completely skip going into detail, they don’t describe important parts…. The best way I can describe this book is that it feels like a surface level outline of a book that’s not finished.
