They say ignorance is bliss, but is it really? Just because you’re unaware of the impact something has doesn’t mean there isn’t one. My goal with this book isn’t to convince anyone to go plant-based or to push a specific agenda. Instead, I want to share the information that often goes unnoticed—the facts most people don’t know. By shedding light on these truths, I hope to empower you to make choices based on knowledge rather than ignorance. After all, that’s exactly how I came to my own decision.

Two truths have become clear to me in life: the small things matter, and everything has a domino effect. Every action, no matter how seemingly insignificant, carries consequences. What you do on a daily basis adds up—it matters. The same goes for the food you eat. It can either be a powerful form of medicine or a slow, steady poison—not just for you, but for the world. Every choice you make ripples outward, and yes, it truly does make a difference.

Even if, after listening to this audiobook, you don’t decide to go plant-based, I hope you walk away with one key realization: you’re in control. Your choices—big and small—shape the world around you. Whether it’s through the food you eat, the way you treat others, or the impact you have on the environment, you have the power to make a difference. My hope is that you choose to be a force for positive change, in whatever way feels right for you. After all, it’s not about perfection—it’s about progress.

To be honest, being plant-based isn’t always easy. It can feel like a sacrifice in some ways, but I can say with certainty that I’m grateful I made the decision. Sacrifice isn’t inherently bad—we all make sacrifices for the things we value most. Life isn’t just about taking the easy route; it’s about making choices that give our lives meaning and purpose. This journey has taught me that sometimes, the harder path is the one that leads to the most growth and fulfillment.

Fantastic book for increasing awareness & knowledge of plant based eating!

I like that this book was based on facts & the author did a great job in proving how much of an impact eating plant based can make. This book explained so well that as individuals we have choice & we can make more informed decisions by increasing our awareness & knowledge of how we live. That our choices affect not only us individually but also globally in terms of health, the environment, and compassion for all living things. Well worth the read!!!

hidden impact

Just like the name suggest it a hidden impact not only on your health but on the environment. Certain food can affect your body and health without you even knowing it. If it doesn't affect your health than it can damage and destroy the environment. SOme talk also about climate change in this book. A good read on hidden impact of the way we eat.

I had no idea

I’m not totally plant based but I might be after listening to this. I never knew so many of our natural resources are used at much higher rates for meat production than plants. This was an eye opener.

Encouraging!

I've wanted to go more plant-based for a while, but felt overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. This book really broken down how going plant-based can positively impact your health, body, life and the world around you without fear-mongering or being judgmental. I feel far more confident in my abilities to slowly transition to amore plant-based diet and take on this change!

This book really changed my perspective on how I eat. Before I ate meat all of the time and I never really thought much about it. This book will stop and make you think about meat and give you perspective on the benefits of eating a plant based diet.
