Acerca de esta escucha

The trouble with history is that it’s full of famous people. Well … that isn’t real story of history - and history is a story, a story telling of a journey from the distant past through to the present and on in to the future. It is full of turmoil and challenge and sacrifice and struggle and the most incredible, undeniable dynamism. This is the story of the rise of the human race from the very beginniing of human time, to the year 1999. Well, we had to have a cut off date at some point. To be perfectly honest, the list of famous people some may think is history is only a very small part of the human history that has accumulated over time to give us the world we know today. The catalogue of famous people were famous for a variety of reasons, some good, some not so good, but in all they represent only moments within that dynamism of time, for the decisions they made and actions undertaken. In their passing they leave behind images that colour our imagination. Yet they were only moments, moments that reverberate through time, yes, but by far they aren’t the only moments within millenia of time full of moments. But if those images aren’t the whole story of history, then what is? Hidden history is much more intriguing than generally we are taught in school. It is much more intriguing than we are led to believe. It has much more life, much more energy, many more reverberations than just a few independent moments than even those decisions that indeed have changed the course of the world. Hidden history is about secrets. It’s about the small ripples that turn into great waves. It’s about uncovering the secrets and feeling the reverberations of the great waves and how they all lead to the world we know today, so different from yesterday, pulsating into tomorrow with the same questions to be asked by our grandchildren and their children. This is about the rarest of commoditities - understanding. It's about the generational accumulation of knowledge ... and asking questions, challenging, to create a greater knowledge beyond previous perceived limitations. Hidden history is almost always hidden and like a puzzle, the viewer has to fit the pieces together. Piece by piece they reveal an incessant tale weaving through the march of time in which those famous people who lay claim to history really can be seen as being fleeting moments. Real history has a far greater substance than this. Hidden history will change your view of how people used to be … and importantly why we are the way we are today. You will be surprised. Importantly there will be magic and through an even greater curiousity there will be an even greater magic ignited. Today is better than yesterday and tomorrow will be greater than today. No matter should we stumble and fall ... we will always rise again. The world is changing. The pace of change is increasing. Civilización Mundial Imperialismo Historia antigua
