I love a good regency book, and this one was a good listen.
This story follows Elena and Theo. Elena's father sells her off to another man to pay his debts. She is in an abusive relationship until her husband dies.
Theo loves her so much that he will wait for eternity to be with her again.
He just needs to convince her that she loves him still.

Elena Wilson loved Theodore Dryden, but was forced by her debt riddled father to marry a man much older man and provide him with an heir. After suffering through her husband's marital attentions and death, Elena wants a lover to show her how it should have been. Welcome back Theo. The two are brought back together by a meddling friend. This is a sweet/steamy love story of 2nd chances.
Narrator was good, but could have done better at male voices. Sometimes it was difficult to tell male/from female lines. An enjoyable Christmas listen.
