I was so excited to get my paws on Garrett and Ethan ... and their story was absolutely lovely. What appealed most to me was that they didn't go out of their way to hide their mutual feelings.

Although, I truly enjoyed the story I have to admit that Mary Jane Wells adds a whole layer for awesome to this book. She brings it the story to life.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to any fan of the author because Mary Jane Wells did such a superior job of narrating/performing the story. There are several different characters and 19th century dialects ranging from educated Londoner to the hero's commoner/Irish accent, and even she does the Welsh accent well. It makes it such a pleasure to listen to!

What other book might you compare Hello Stranger to and why?

This one is as great as all Kleypas' work, and I'm a big fan. They are a great escape, but still feel like literature, and I learn a little more from every one.

It is hard to believe that I have not read a book by Lisa Kleypas that I have not liked, but it's true. Since the summer, which is when I discovered her books, I have read almost every book she has written, with the exception of the very early books, which are impossible to find as audio books. I love the audio books because it gives me the flexibility to do other things while listening to the book, but mainly I love her narrators! They really do make the books so interesting. I highly recommend reading her books, but make sure you have a series guide so you are reading them all in order. At first I did not realize that these were series and read a couple out of order. I started out with the historical novels (Wallflowers), which is what I recommend.

I loved the Wallflower series and finding the Ravenal series has been such a bonus. I look forward to reading all the books in this series. So entertaining!

This is truly one of the best romance novels I’ve read/listened to ever — and I’ve read/listened to many in my 58 years. Highly recommended!

This is an intense love story. Lots of drama. When you are independent, unique, and content to be alone, is that all there is?

I loved this book. The storyline is very different from the other ravenell books, but it's definitely worth the credit!

The writing is excellent as always. I love the hero so much that I broke down and cried. That's rare these days, so keep tissues handy.

Garret and Ethan are amazing together. Lisa Kleypas is just absolutely AMAZING! I wish there were 20 more Ravenel family members! It was sexy, interesting, and funny. West Ravenel almost stole the show. Highly recommend the entire series but read the Wallflower series first then the Ravenel Series you will not regret it.

The Ravenels is a series to savor!
