No, he has other responsibilities that need his attention. Kalinda of Earth can't be for him. It does not matter that her curves stir his blood like she's his true mate.

But if Nakan won't have her, his enemies will. Too bad for them that the Warlord of the Hard Sands doesn't share. He'll have to find a way to claim his mate and hold his position, or he'll lose everything: his woman, his tribe, his territory...and his life.

What made me not like the story is the fact that she literally went into space to be married, but when her faded male find her she bites the whole entire time until the end when he almost died. It’s like you wanna escape, but just to go to a planet that you might get treated like a slave.

she really was acting like a spoiled brat she totally on a different planet. But she acting like they on earth she has to understand that planet and how they work. But really liked the book.

Good read

I love the book but this narrator isn't doing it for me I had to slow it down to the point that it would sound better then the first one. This is one of those things where the book is better than the audiobook. You can make it sound like any one in your head, but the narrator messed that up for me. Would send them both back but I still Love the author and they both should get there money. When you write the next one please use a different narrator

The story follows Kalinda, an earthing human female, one of several who crash-landed on a lizard-alien planet and encounters the Warlord Nakan. Kalinda’s plans for her future doesn’t include living on a backwards sand planet full of superstitious lizard-aliens. But no matter how attracted she becomes to Nakan, she’s determined to get off the godforsaken planet. Her new life has become Overwhelming because of the intrigue of politics with the tribe and avoiding Nakan’s persistence that she is his chosen female, while also trying to stay out of the reach of a male called Chase. Chase is bound and determined to have her, no matter how he has to do it. It is all too challenging for her to try to even think. Although she much prefers Nakan over Chase, she isn’t ready for any relationship because of all that she’s had to deal since crashing on their planet, All she can think of is she just needs to get out of there.
