The heat exchanger is located inside the gas furnace not beside it. The evaporator coil isn’t located inside a furnace it stands alone. If it’s an electric air handler the coil will be encased inside the air handler. Furnaces can’t fit both the head exchanger and the coil so they make the coil separate. Also if you have a gas furnace you won’t have a heat pump. It would be a waste of gas running a heat pump with a gas furnace.

May only cost $3 but don’t buy. Dude doesn’t know shit about hvac
