But they willed themselves to fight back and triumph over their suffering. Through their own courageous battles, they not only changed the course of their lives but also transformed the lives of thousands of fellow-travellers. As humans, we have the tendency to blame someone or something when things don’t go according to plan. In the absence of any other human to blame, we turned to God, asking, “Why did this happen to me?” But as we move on in life we connect the dots and realize that events occur in our lives for a meaningful purpose. We begin to perceive that God, in his wisdom, IS fair! Depression is common but serious disorder and affects how you feel, think and handle daily activities. About 90% of people who commit suicide have a mental disorder, primarily depression.
