From Harlan Cohen, the best-selling author of The Naked Roommate: And 107 Other Issues You Might Run into in College, comes Getting Naked, an honest, hopeful guide to getting a date, falling in love - or lust - and finding happiness in love (and in life). With a simple five-step approach to finding the love of your life, Harlan answers the most commonly asked questions from his syndicated advice column, his college tours, his website, and his newest book for Gen Y. He helped a generation make the most of college life, now he’ll help them find the love of their lives.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
somebody with really low confidence and self-esteemWould you ever listen to anything by Harlan Cohen again?
noWhat didn’t you like about Harlan Cohen’s performance?
it was all just a ton of hype, he was way too enthusiastic about everything to the point it annoyed me. After about a half hour I decided I just couldn't stand it any more. What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
mostly disappointment, I was disappointed that his first assumption is I have low self-esteem, and that is all I need to have success with women. I was looking for more constructive comments. Tell me what else I can change. Most of all, I was just annoyed with his overflowing enthusiasm, and the fact that he basically repeated the same thing a million different ways, never really teaching me anything new.

This book is only useful as a temporary "feel good" and won't assist anyone in making real change.Would you ever listen to anything by Harlan Cohen again?
NoHow did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator's attempt at clever brilliance was annoying and for most, his ignorance is easily revealed. You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
NoAny additional comments?
It's never the money, it's the time. I optimistically stayed with this book for several chapters before finally giving up. Waste of time.Uninformed Pep Talk
