Entertaining post-apocalyptic tale.

Frozen Wasteland, the first book in the Forsaken Trilogy provides the introduction to an original postapocalyptic world where the battle of the sexes is literal in a world dying from toxic pollution. This introductory story provides the introduction to the dying world in the Great Lakes area of Ohio and its inhabitants the Venganza clan and their quest to eradicate the Los Muertos clan all the while looking for clean water. In the middle of all this is Katy the doctor who tends to pregnant women from her boat.
If you enjoy PA fiction with a serious dark dystopian tone, Frozen Wastelands I worth a read, or a listen. I listened to the audiobook narrated with virtual voice. While Virtual voice doesn’t work well for all stories, in the case of Frozen Wasteland I hardly noticed I was listening to AI instead of a human narrator.
