The best time to find yourself is before you hit rock bottom.

My mom died when I was ten, taking my happy family life with her. Since my dad's only useful enough to drain a bottle, I've learned to live with nothing except the love and generosity of my best friends.

My relationship with twins Damon and Declan has always been close. Too close, according to what society has deemed appropriate between guy friends. At twenty-two, the guilt of taking handouts from my friends catches up with me. Filled with self-loathing, I decided it was time to make a change.

The twins have always known they were gay—just like I've known I was straight. But now, I wonder if the love and affection I've always craved was for something else entirely.

At first, I wasn’t sure how I felt about someone who didn’t get “turned on” by sex. Naively, I didn’t understand the term asexual. Again, don’t hate. I went through A LOT of emotions throughout this entire story. I liked it, I loved it, I was confused and angry. As the story went on and I settled into Simon’s discovery of his sexuality and the sweet way Quin loved him, supported him, and encouraged his sexuality and his love for the twins, I realized the importance of love in ALL it’s forms and labels. I think this story is amazing in explaination of asexuality and I’m not someone who will have a DNF because I’m confused. I really wasn’t sure if I was going to read book 2 but after hearing the epilogues, i’m definitely invested. I can’t wait to start the next book. LOVE IS LOVE and I’m here for it!

I njoyed the thoughtful explanation of what it is like to be Ace for this fictional character. It made me think about the nature of attraction and connection between people and what makes a healthy relationship. I recommend.

Crea Reitan has delivered another incredibly beautiful queer romance. For your time is an enthralling story with quirky characters that you can’t help but love. I found myself dying to know how everything will turn out between not only the MCs but the supporting characters as well. Reitan has created a gorgeous world in this series and I was hooked from the very first chapter.
The spicy scenes feel different due to the asexual orientation of one MC. Quinlan & Simon are so aware of each other & I felt the heat & desire they shared. The scenes were well written & packed with loads of yummy detail & dialogue & some interesting positions.
Great narration- Snow & Dicosimo are always wonderful & did really well portraying all the different characters voices. I can’t wait to listen to more in this series.

This story has so many hills and valleys I could predict much.I don’t think I can ever be on Quinn’s side of any of this and I’m super bummed that Vulcan didn’t end up in a “thrupple” with the twins.I can say that Simone and Quinn’s first interaction was “meant to happen”.Even if Simone says he’s “not gay”,it DEFINITELY looks that way lol(soft groin or not).

O… M… G… I absolutely adored this book. First, the unique relationship Simon has with his twins is so endearing. Well, it is, then kinda is so painful… but worth it! And I love how Simon goes into the contract with Quin with open eyes and an open heart. What they both end up finding is so beautiful and I loved the 🩶 ace representation. It’s not something I’ve seen before and I love how it worked for these guys.
So ready for whatever comes next and how Simon, Declan, and Damon figure out their stuff.
Also, I think we all deserve a Quin who will listen and work tirelessly to give us what we need.

This book is the reason why I read. There is always something the be learned.
I’ve always been an advocate for anything marginalized. LGBTQIA+ especially. This story is an awakening of sorts. And it’s beautifully told.
This is the story of Simon and Quinlan. Please, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Love is love. And you will feel the love they find, develop and nurture.
The secondary characters are important to the plot. And they are well written also.
Bravo Liam DiCosimo and Aiden Snow for being able to express the emotions in a way that made me melt!

I really enjoyed this story. it definitely shines a different light on the "A" in LGBTQIA. there's an interesting cast of characters and I can't wait to see who's story is next. Crea Reitan is new to me, I will definitely watch for more books by her. The narration is absolutely perfect. Aiden Snow is the perfect voice for the professor. Liam DiCosimo was also the right voice for Simon. not whiny but definitely inexperienced. he also has no clue he's A sexual. Love is love.

But i loved this book and already purchased book 2. The reviews I read made me hesitate bc of the ones talking about "forcing" your dk down someone's throat, but if you actually listen to the story you'd see Simon needs the pain to feel which makes sense with his history. The relationship with the twins broke my heart. Great 1st book can't wait for the rest!!
