I read this years ago and enjoyed the Audible version more than my first reading. It’s always interesting when the villain doesn’t appear villainous.

A long portion is in the thriller mode—I almost wondered if our hero was going to ever get away from the bad guys! As always an enjoyable suspense.

Great writing. Good story. Excellent narration. Love his writing and the fact that every story is different with new characters each time. Not as easy as writing a series. But each one so far has been captivating.

Plodding storyline interspersed with just enough action to keep me hooked. So, I hang in there and then am handed a bust of an ending. Wish I'd spent my time on a different book.
