Their quest to stop a century-long killing spree takes them to a small town in the Blue Ridge Mountains. They're ahead of the sacrifice cycle, with plans to stop the murders and kill the dark witch. Only this time, the hunters become the hunted when the witch knows they're coming to get him, and has deadly plans of his own.

this was an interesting story about witchcraft and I love stories about magic ect. I really enjoyed reading this book.

story line

The characters introduced are interesting and add a great chemistry between the MCs that the reader never felt before. This story challenges the MCs relationship in ways that was needed and made me as the reader see them more unified and trusting of each other. Throughout this story you can tell that the insecurities the MCs have are either lessening or are resolved making the reader more invested in the relationship. I hope to see less insecurities between the main characters going forward in the series.

Overall this was an enjoyable read about monster hunters protecting humanity from the supernatural. Reading about the developing relationship between Seth and Evan is enjoyable and the addition of Milo and Toby is also engaging.

This particular book highlighted the fact that the characters in this series are almost all men who are in relationships with other men. This is a perk if you are looking for that type of story, but it does add another implausible aspect to the series. Considering that approximately half the human population is women, an explanation might be in order.

Once again, Kale Williams adds an extra bit of flavor to this series with has soothing voice and masterful performance.

Well, I only got the first book in this series done then I tried to return the rest. Still waiting to see if Audible will take these last two back. If Supernatural knew they were being used as a hook to get people to buy this there would be a lawsuit. This is nowhere close to Supernatural the TV series. This is (and I am not opposed to LGBTQ people) a gay porn. There was more extremely descriptive sex scenes in this than an actual plot. I was grossed out by the fact that these 2 guys couldn’t even begin to fight evil without talking about their cocks getting hard for each other. Supernatural, no. Supersmut yes. If you want to disguise your porn in a book then this is for you. If you want to read a Supernatural like book then look somewhere else. This is an insult to the SPN family.
