What made the experience of listening to First the most enjoyable?

Hearing about Rich's mental strength and focus was awesome... because at the end of the day that will out perform our physical strength.

This isn't some Rich Froning reveals the ultra secret ways of being the best at Crossfit. This books simply tells the story of Rich Froning journey into Crossfit while also teaching some cool life lessons. I enjoyed it.

I very much enjoyed hearing about the ups and downs of a crossfit legend. How he developed mental toughness, his faith in God and how he doesn't want crossfit to define him. Really well narrated which draws you in to the story.

Good book for the readers interested in the life of Rich Froning. For all those people addict to Crossfit just looking for tips about how to train, how to eat or how to win Crossfit competitions: Don't buy this book. This book is not for you because he doesn't talk about that and you'll be disappointed overall.

I loved learning about Rich’s life & what makes him Rich. But I loved how he put things in perspective of his faith without being preachy, yet giving God all the glory! His telling of past CrossFit games was great too!! I hope he writes more!

I wasn’t wild about the narrator voice but it wasn’t awful, just seemed a little old for Froning. Content was good and a lot of great antidotes and inspirational journeys. A good mix of personal life stories, fitness related stories, and personal accomplishments that really put things into perspective.
