good mix

Book 2 in a series but actually a stand alone audiobook. I enjoyed the listen and hopefully will have the chance to listen to more of the authors work.
There are several groups of people (and non-people) but the characters are so well defined that you never lose your place (and that is a mark of quality writing!).
The author was kind enough to gift me with my copy in exchange for a honest review. I honestly enjoyed every minute of this audiobook and I think you will too.
Enjoyable weekend listen AA++

Another great story from MA Hollstein matched by an equally great narration by Tim Jackson.

The main characters from book one were joined by others. These people also survived the infection and were all scared of the looming danger above. As they try to live day to day, they were forced to face scarier circumstances and individuals.

The suspense was definitely rising as the surviving humans realized that the threat they face was way beyond what they imagined.

The big twist in the first book was accounted for and then another twist was introduced. Brilliant! Making me eager to start listening to the third book.

I really enjoyed the first book, so was happy to move on to this one. I found that I enjoyed it as much as the first. The narrator does a good job and kept me engaged throughout. I really love the alien aspect of this series in a zombie apocalypse. Definitely looking forward to book 3.

This book starts right in and doesn’t stop. It easily flows between different scenarios (main character storylines) happening at the the same time. This book also adds new characters which add even more mystery.
It’s creepy, mysterious and suspenseful. I love all the characters and I’m excited to read/listen to the next book in this series.
The narration was absolutely amazing!! The narrator really brings these characters to life!! And does a wonderful job on the different sound effects.
I would definitely recommend this book!
This is a continuous story but with no drastic cliffhanger.

This story started out interesting but slowly kind of turned into a zombie/alien mess.

The characters seem one dimensional and their dialogue was banal.

I had to listen to the narration on a much faster speed because it was so laborious.

I wouldn’t recommend this version!

This book to me was better than the first book. The narrator does such a great job. She brings the whole world to life. I cant wait to listen to the next book. Took a bit to get invested into the story but now I'm hooked.

An awesomely done alien apocalypse story! I love the addition of good vs bad alien! i cant wait to hear the next story! definitely would recommend!

I had to stop this book multiple times! I got so scared. These books are a mix of walking dead and falling skies! Great storyline, background of characters, and narrator!

Fatal Reaction, Survival. The virus that wipes out nearly all the population and leaves the survivors living in fear and isolated. The book is well written, is quite fast paced with a lot of action and a huge amount of tension. It has twists to the tale. I am now waiting for book 2 It is a great read/listen and is a can't put it down book.
Tim's narration is great.
