It was intriguing. I listened whip doing morning exercise. It will bless your soul and start your morning out the right way, I listened before going to sleep, as well. It calms the mind and soul after a busy day. I highly recommend.

Cheryl Schuermann uniquely draws the listener to an easy-chair next to Jesus. You feel His presence, His love, His mercy. As if written for me, Chapter 14 speaks of the broken vessel and how God restored it to be used for Him. Each chapter has a touch of life’s simple delights drawing you to a richness of walking with our Lord. The narrator was perfectly chosen for the delivery of this special devotional.

Although I am definitely not a farm girl, Farmhouse Devotions continues to be a favorite devotional book of mine. It is one I frequently give as a gift to friends and family members.

My audiobook library has not included devotional books; however, when I discovered Farmhouse Devotions was available as an audiobook, I gave it a try. I was delighted to find the narrator’s voice made the stories even more meaningful and engaging. I am not surprised by the number of awards this devotional book and audiobook have been awarded.

Being raised on a farm I found Cheryl’s Farmhouse Devotions to be not only inspiring, motivating but also meaningful. I would recommend this delightful book to anyone no matter where they live – as the book takes you back to the farm. I listen to a lot of Audible books and the Audible version is one of the best! In addition, this book makes a great gift!

I totally enjoyed this book by Cheryl Schuermann which is a great reminder of God’s love and goodness in everyday life. The narration by Emily Norman allowed me to multi-task when my days are usually already full. Emily’s narration was warm and comforting. Submitted for Nancy G.
