Do you have a passion for antiques? Are you looking for ways to build a business from your passion of the rare and collectible? Maybe you've always wanted to run an antique booth and only need a bit of motivation to take the jump - or maybe you already have an antique booth and are looking for ways to optimize your business.
Well, look no further! My book is a step-by-step guide on how to run an antique booth efficiently. Whether you are a beginner who needs guidance on how to get started, or you have your own antique booth and are looking for tips and advice on growing your business, my book is here to help you.
As someone who is passionate about being an entrepreneur, I've learned many things about what to do, and what not to do. With this book, I am here to share the knowledge that I have gained through my own research and experience with others who share my passion. With this guide you can run your own successful antique booth without having to go through the trial and errors that I went through with my own antique booth.
This is a great time to get into this business - the recent growth in global wealth means that the antique market has been rapidly growing. Many people are now looking for items to add to their collection, whether because they have a passion for it or because they realize it is an efficient way to invest money.
©2015 Retro Aficionado (P)2015 Retro AficionadoThe three modes of procuring inventory were basic to a fault. Buy it from someone else. Use your own. Combo of both. Seriously? Those are the three business models? Providing a list of locations to get your inventory helps the reader not at all. If someone can't figure out you go to estate sales, thrift stores and garage sales, then they need more then this book. Going to those places do not help you at all unless you developed your nice and knowledge base. That's the biggest barrier to entry. So how does someone go about doing that? Not touched on at all.
Finances are also not touched on. Getting your business license. Paying taxes on the income you make from the mall. The mall is going to declare your sales to the government so you better be prepared for tax time.
This book was the pitch for the book that goes into more depth. Here's what I'm going to talk about in each chapter. Now, where's the book where you actually talk about those topics.

The narrator reads the story really awkwardly as well, so it feels like you’re being lectured on a pre-recorded class, rather than listening to a discussion or advice from a friend. Don’t waste your money.
