Acerca de esta escucha

Melissa McClone gets listeners’ hearts fluttering with her enchanting romances. In Expecting Royal Twins!, mechanic Izzy Poussard is stunned when a Balkan prince walks into her garage and explains that she’s not only a lost princess, but his lost bride. Taken to America as a baby, Izzy had no idea who her real parents were - or that she was betrothed to the handsome Prince Niko. Now Izzy must learn to be a princess - and decide if she still wants Niko to be her prince.

I’m not even sure where to begin. This book book could have been so much better. There was a lot of repetition of thought. The beginning of the book is wordy, and the middle and end seem rushed. The main character’s romantic relationship kind of comes out of no where. But, my biggest issue with this book is the name. The female lead character is a virgin until the last 5ish chapters, why is the book titled ‘Expecting Royal Twins’? Yes, she has twins, but only in the epilogue.

As for the narrator, just because people live in the South, that does not make them sound like hicks from ‘Deliverance’. I don’t think I could listen to this narrator again.

Could have been great
