The first part of the book, 17 Secrets of True Leadership, helped me better understand how to build trust and communicate clearly, especially in situations where I need to support my team or deal with tricky conversations at work. It gave me confidence to speak up more and not second guess myself. The second part focuses more on psychology and influence, and I found that section really eye opening. It breaks down why people respond to certain types of communication and how to connect with others in a more authentic and impactful way which honestly helps in and out of the office. My only small critique is that some of the concepts felt a bit repetitive at times, but overall, it kept me engaged and thinking about how I could apply what I learned in real life.
