One of their table mates, Cindy Thomas, face dives into her coconut cream pie and dies right in front of them. What appears to be a severe asthmatic attack soon becomes suspicious, and Jennifer, whose only focus should be her new husband, finds herself drawn into a search for Cindy's killer. In LOVE AFTER DEATH, Cindy Thomas, a local historian who's intrigued by the history of the Ferris Inn and the mysteries that surround it, suddenly finds herself unbelievably dead following a dinner performance at the inn. The weekend is a reunion of her college frenemies, a fatal one. Newly dead, Cindy finds herself surrounded by the spirits who haunt the mansion, which includes Harvey Goodwin, a most attractive ghost she thought was a computer generated creation based on a long dead vaudevillian. She faces a choice: go into The Light or hang around and find out what's really going on at the mansion and the truth behind its history.
