I gulp. Tremble. Open my mouth to lie . . . and then the elevator stops.

It was a great story I loved it very much however I hate a cliffhanger or when I don't know a book is a cliffhanger

great characters with unique relationships

The story is great, but the narration is terrible. The male narrator, trying to do other voices like Disney characters, is just too hard to get through. He makes a 62-year-old woman sound like a wicked witch from a cartoon, and he also makes the lead female sound like she's constantly nagging, even if she's just going through trauma. She should sound scared. Not like she's pissed about the price of milk. I'm on Chapter 13 and I can't return it. Gonna eat the credit.

This was not my favorite and I didn’t like the narrators they felt not in sync but the female narrator was good but the male narrator he was not my fav. Over all I’m not a fan of this audio and the book

I will not be entertaining this at all

I’m not even sure what to think about this one. Half the time I keep checking to see if this was a rom com. The female narrator made it sound like it - well, the ridiculous dialogue too. Then the last maybe 1/4 of the book was very mafia-esque and obviously very serious. The characters are not really multi dimensional , they are very flat. Not much going on as far as storylines. Just the bad guy and the pregnancy really. The book is kind of underwhelming overall. So I’m not sure if I’m going to go on at this point - since there’s a second book, you know this is a cliffy. But I’m not sure if I care enough to get the second one.

What can I say. Nicole Fox just knows how to write a steamy mafia bad boy. I swear every single thing she writes and I have another book boyfriend.

Hotness overload

A few weeks ago I discovered Nicole fox and I just can’t stop listening and reading her books. Each Mafia book has a different story line.

Another good one

Story is intertwined with 3 plots. Was very disappointed that they didn’t indicate it ends with a cliffhanger and no indication of when the next one is released. I would have waited until the next one would be released. Worth a credit, yes! I’ll have to investigate the next one.

I really enjoyed this book, i thought it was well paced I wasn’t a fan of the male narrator but i got used to him throughout the book. It left on a great cliffhanger i was not expecting the twist at the end, definitely worth the read.
