 The Embrace of Light and Darkness series consists of five books—Dance of Sounds, The Matter of Matter, The Home of the World, All Women in One, and Strange Thoughts—and offers a diverse exploration of poetry focused on themes of emotion, existence, and the human experience. Four of these books are poetry collections, while the fifth book features prose poems, short stories, aphorisms, epigrams, and essays written in English between 2005 and 2010, with a few exceptions that were added or corrected later. This series marks a critical period in Stojanović's transition to writing in English.

All these books reflect a unique approach to poetry. Dance of Sounds reflects personal and universal interaction. This collection enhances the reader's understanding of complex human relationships and the emotional universe we navigate.
The Matter of Matter explores similar themes with a stronger philosophical undertone. In this book, as throughout the series—especially in Strange Thoughts—the philosophical dimension is a blend of abstract concepts and metaphorical language. However, this philosophical element is characteristic of all the poetry books Stojanovic has written in Serbian or English, totaling about 20 poetry collections.

The Home of the World is the central piece of the series. It reflects the duality in human experiences and the world, motivating readers to reflect on their lives and strive for a more balanced way of living.

All Women in One explores relationships and identity in the male-female experience and examines the ideals that serve as lighthouses in the tumult of our lives.
