This is lightly mafia, lightly spice and a nice story. It was a light read or easy to follow story. Narration was very good it was duet which is perfect.

In running away and finding a safe heaven in Dublin Lane is building a new life. This is a sweet love story and even a bit of violence can not diminish the love.

this audio was absolutely amazing!! The story, the characters, the narrators!! so so good!! I am excited for the next book!

not your typical mafia romance

I love the idea of this book and the performance by Joe and Mia was great but I feel like the story needed to be expanded on. I would have like to seen the characters have a longer connection rather than instalove. It was still a fun listen and left on a bit of a cliffhanger so I'll continue with the other brothers stories.

Tag and Laine meet by chance when she goes back to Ireland to fulfill her mom's wishes. Tag is the new leader of the Quinn family who live by a set of laws to govern and keep his people safe. Laine leaves under stressful circumstances but makes it back to her mother's homeland. Even as things take a turn for the worse fate has other plans for the Quinn family. Joe and Mia did a great job with the audiobook. I am excited to see what comes next in Dublin Devil.

Romano's home cadence of the female narrator took away from the listening experience. Narrator had one tone the whole story,

Joe Pardon is the only reason I finished the book

The whole story and plot moves very quickly and I was left wanting more. This could have been exceptional if there was more details more character building. The timeline that takes place is extremely short and with all that takes place seems unrealistic. I pre ordered this based on the description and was excited for it but disappointed after listening.
I love Joe Arden and he always bring his A game and did fantastic job with MMC I have never listened to Mia Madison before and for me she made the FMC seem so fake she just didn't add to the book. There was no emotional voice behind her she was just reading the lines and even being a duet with Joe Arden he couldn't make up for how much she lacked voicing the FMC. If the FMC narration was better I think I would have liked it much more and could get past the issues I have with the storyline. I am just so disappointed and wish I hadn't wasted a credit on this one.

The narration is okay at best. However, to be fair, it is difficult to really judge the narrators fully because of the story.

I think the authors wanted to create a strong FMC but, in my opinion, did not pull it off.

There are a lot of different tropes at play. Unfortunately, none of them really come together or are done in a way that I found enjoyable as a listener.

Hard pass for a credit. See for yourself if it’s free.

I was excited about this one but now I don’t get all the other high reviews.
