Most who heard about his brush with death believed the dragon didn’t eat him because he was marked by the devil. The priest said the deformity Milus had been born with was a punishment from God for the sins of his parents. Their sins would be forgiven and his mother would be allowed to bear more children if they could raise their unsightly child as if he was normal. This is the story Milus, and how he became a legend.
