Acerca de esta escucha

Social media has become part of most people's lives, and it's set to evolve tremendously as we increasingly incorporate technological advancements into our lives. Unfortunately, social media companies have not properly been held accountable to the communication over their networks, and although nearly all of these companies are highly innovative and have empowered many individuals around the world, it has come at a cost to public order, which is directly a result of poor misguided legislation and not holding these organizations accountable for the communication that they permit over their networks. This is the nature of the effect, but in instances of social media, it can lead to mass emotional and physical harm. Information that crosses social networks must be monitored and verified, and people must be suspended and deplatformed in correlation with sites' policies. Sites must be made legally responsible for content on their networks to make this a reality because if they aren't forced to do it through legislation it will never happen as a result of profiteering off of public harm, civil unrest, etc...
