Ron Faust is the author of 14 previous thrillers. He has been praised for his "rare and remarkable talent" (Los Angeles Times), and several of his books have been optioned for films. Before he began writing, he played professional baseball and worked at newspapers in Colorado Springs, San Diego, and Key West.

Unlike many of Faust’s other works, the story line was rather stream of consciousness and lacked a cohesive progression until the final third of the story.

the book starts off slow. I had to stick with it before making all the connections. then towards the final two hours, the action gets moving and the parts start tieing toether for a not bad ending.

Some serious overtones here...a real thinker of a book... I can't decide what was happening to the characters and didn't expect the books KS ending. A very different style for Mr Faust!

I could only listen to ten chapters. total senseless drivvel. no plot. no style no class.

I'm just glad that the story was a short one. I would describe it as incoherent at best.

Pretty sure why numerous books are uploaded at slow speeds, and hopefully the narrators will review them. I've returned numerous books because of narrator but honestly can't remember how many due to slowness...UNTIL it was so obvious in one of Faust's books last week [I have thousands of Audible books] that I tried this method and narrator was awesome.

Really drags. Even increase speed to 3.5 x and still couldn't get through the whole book. Don't know how it ends and don't care.

A bit disappointing... couldn't finish this one. May be for other readers who appreciate this genre, just not for me.
His Caribbean reads .. could fo back for mofe of these indefinitely though.
