Enter the short story. I've enjoyed all three of the offerings from Mr Kelly so far. He is macabre and twisted and has the ability to give you that little bit of shock and revulsion that comes from the dark and unknown. Fun stuff. Well worth the couple bucks being asked. I think you'll enjoy these short stories, give'm a try!
Death and Darkness in the South, lots of fun.

Narration - 4.5
Dark Dixie by Ronald Kelly was a real joy to listen to!
No shock schlock here! These are well constructed horror tales with a down home feel. The narrator's style added to this effect.
Recommendation - heck yeah. And the audio upgrade is very reasonable.
Dang!

Yea, Though I Drive- a serial killer stalks a highway.
Miss Abigail’s Delicate Condition- very good! starts out with a hint of "a rose for emily" but quickly develops into it's own tale of horror.
The Cistern- this one was fun! A guy revisits his childhood hometown.
Papa’s Exile- papa goes missing.
The Hatchling- what's in the egg?!
Uncle Cyrus- this was a fun tale. not scary but definitely black comedy. Uncle Cyrus has a rather strange last request.
Forever Angels- the tale of a cemetery. very urban legend-ish. i liked this one too.
Black Harvest- it's a good old fashioned harvest party with some old, old tradition. this was my favorite.
Ronald Kelly does it again! <3

Great collection

Literally. There is a story in here about a GIANT GHOST CHICKEN that kills a dude's wife. Not a chicken monster or anything, just a giant evil chicken. The author legitimately wrote that story, sat back, looked at it, and patted himself on the back.
I can't. I just can't.
Wait for it ...
