Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice Clean and Wholesome Continuation is an 8-book series. This is one book containing books 1-4: Love and Illness find Pemberley Love and a Scoundrel at Pemberley Lydia is a Widow Georgiana Darcy Every book tells the complete romance story of a character from Pride and Prejudice. Books 1-4 recount the births of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth’s children. Books 5-8 (1-4 of Darcy's Daughters) follow their children’s lives, struggles, and romances.
Miss Beth Collins has known Mr. Frederick Darcy for many years and, in arriving at Pemberley for a prolonged visit, thinks nothing of being in his company again. Her heart is much too troubled over her brother, George, who has not written to her for some months and whose secret she continues to carry. The last person she wishes to tell about her heavy heart is Frederick – and yet he seems determined to discover the truth.
Frederick Darcy is most frustrated – first of all with himself, and then, thereafter with his sister, Alberta. It is clear that something he said has inadvertently hurt Beth most severely, but neither she nor his sister will tell him what it is! Determined to make amends, Frederick seeks to draw closer to Beth – never expecting that his heart will lose itself to her in the process.
Will Beth be willing to trust Frederick enough to tell him what has happened to George? Can George ever manage to find his way home? And will Beth and Frederick’s growing closeness begin to flourish into something all the more wonderful? Will Darcy's only son find a wife... a daughter-in-law to produce an heir.

Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2023I enjoyed this book so much that I didn’t want to put it down. I enjoyed it even more than Pride and Prejudice. The characters are well written and it has a great plot.
**There are no cliff hangers to the individual love story inside each book, but thankfully, there is a continuation of life at Pemberley in books to come. Each book is about 30,000 words and contains no cheating.
