Celebrity Stylist Ditches the Pretense to Live Authentically
When past trauma whispers lie to us, we believe them. They tell us we have no value; we are unworthy, not good enough, and we will never measure up. Embracing these deceptions, we develop dangerous mistrust and mindsets that promote untruths about who we really are and who God is.
Author Tracci Johnson knows this all too well. For many years, this celebrity stylist struggled with the effects of a toxic relationship with her father that shaped her thoughts and thwarted her perspective of self and God. Tracci had it all. She glamorized the stars and lived among the famous—but in private, hers was a life of despair. The façade of success had obscured her true happiness.
How did she get the better of insecurities, fear, divorce, and heartbreak? How did she forgive and rid herself of bitterness? How did she dig deep and chart a new way forward? Read her engaging life story as she bares it all.
This book will encourage and motivate you to ditch the pretense and live authentically. Discover how to cultivate feelings of acceptance, love for self, and self-worth. Learn to conquer the negative self-talk and limiting beliefs that have tormented you all these years. You have a rightful place in the kingdom of God. This is the perfect time to find it, pursue your purpose, and live the fulfilling life you deserve.
Tracci Johnson is a master celebrity stylist, owner of Legacci Salon, former owner of Eclipse Salon on Melrose and the founder of the women’s ministry, the Ruth Group. She was mentored by Ron Newton, master stylist and son of Huey P. Newton. Tracci toured with Pebbles, En Vogue, and Babyface, as key stylist. She also serviced El Debarge, LL Cool J and his wife Simone I Smith, Jada-Pinkett-Smith, Nia Long, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Brandy, Kelly Price, Keisha Cole, Natalie Cole, Cicely Tyson, Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold, CeCe Winans, and Lynn Whitfield among others. Tracci’s talents have been displayed on ABC’s Extreme Makeover, the Oscars, the Grammys, BET Awards, Image Awards, movies, music videos, and television shows. She has appeared in publications such as In Style, Essence, and Sophisticates Black Hair. Her accolades include top 10 African American stylist in the country and the 50 most influential women in the beauty industry. Tracci has a passion to help others, especially women. Great audio biography
I watched the online YT bible study , I had no idea it seemed that Traci did everything right except take note about him not confessing his truth in counseling and never wanting to study the bible just giving fancy lip service while being well dressed .I hope they finally get the help they need.I also think he was jealous of her Hustle & Grind that shaped who she’s naturally is today .This is why a lot of black women started to date outside their race.
