Acerca de esta escucha
Can a mortal girl survive a deadly Fae academy long enough to claim a crown she never knew was hers?
Seventeen-year-old Briar thought she was ordinary—until the day frost blooms from her fingertips and strangers whisk her away to Crown of Thorns Academy. Within the academy’s ancient halls, she’s plunged into a realm of ruthless Fae students and arcane magic. Here, Briar is more prey than prodigy… until she discovers the truth: she is the long-lost heir of a powerful Fae lineage, bound by an ancient Frost Prophecy that could save or destroy the realm.
At Crown of Thorns, nothing is as it seems. Prince Adrian, an infuriatingly handsome Fae royal, keeps Briar at arm’s length. He’s as cold as the ice magic she struggles to control, yet their destinies are tangled tighter than thorny vines. As a slow-burning attraction sparks between them, Briar fights to guard her heart. Trusting a Fae—especially one sworn to the Crown—could be a dangerous mistake.
But dark forces are circling. In a court where betrayal wears a friendly face, every ally is suspect. When an act of treachery shatters her world, Briar must harness her frosty powers and accept her true identity before it’s too late. If she fails, the prophecy’s deadly winter will consume the Fae realm—and the prince she’s come to care for.
The Frost Prophecy is awakening… and at Crown of Thorns Academy, even love can be a lethal illusion.
All that aside, the story was what kept me in it until the finish and I eventually started to barely tolerate the virtual voice. I wasn’t able to multitask unfortunately while listening but it was a good listen. I may get more out of actually reading it myself- who knows.
Disappointed by narration
