 This volume supplements my original four-book essay collection. Whereas the first collection spans a sixteen-year period and showcases substantial shifts in my political opinions, this collection spans a little over a year. That year, however, was very eventful. Between April 2024 and June 2025, I resided in Dar Es Salaam, Nanaimo, Burnaby, Chilliwack and Victoria. I participated in the 2024 BC election campaign and played a part in the massive political realignment that continues to unfold in BC, working for the BC Conservative Party’s internal polling firm, caucus research department and caucus special projects division.

For the first time in a half a decade, Los Altos Institute has grown and become more active, as Old Growth Left organizations around North America begin a process of regrowth and recovery. Not only have I enjoyed meeting new friends and comrades in my alliance with the anti-authoritarian populist right in big tent anti-authoritarian politics; I am also especially honoured to have created an online course delivery partnership between Los Altos and Deep Green Resistance, whose gatherings have become an important gathering and networking point for those committed to an old school anti-capitalist, materialist eco-politics.

As with previous volumes, I am including essays where I made predictions that have been proven wrong and take positions I now wish I had not. That is because I believe that to restore a free speech democratic politics, it is necessary to model flexibility and fallibility in the public square.
