Ex-FBI profiler River Ryland still suffers from PTSD after a case went horribly wrong. As River and Tony race to stop him before he kills again, an even more dangerous threat emerges, stirring up the past that haunts River and plotting an end to her future.

Suspensful!

Story idea was good but the heavy religion in the book changed the story from murder to finding GOD. That is not a bad thing, just not what I want in a murder story.

The two detectives worked hard to solve the mystery they were hired for and also uncovered more mysteries along the way.
As former FBI I would have expected more proactive skills when investigating an issue to prevent any dangerous situations.
Overall I liked the story and how the main characters grew in insight and self awareness. I wish the story completely wrapped up.
It seems this book will lead into the next.
