After a five-month adventure building the Pan American Airways Pacific island bases, 17-year-old Nick Grant returns to Alameda High School. But Nick has changed, and is having trouble re-adjusting to his previous life. His part-time job at the Pan American hangar is his only respite, but then, a series of mysterious ‘accidents’ occur, casting doubt on him and his mentor.
Nick is certain his old nemesis, Toshio Miyazaki, a Japanese master spy, is responsible. Join Nick as he confronts his classmates, the Japanese Secret Society killer, and the FBI, all while trying to protect the China Clippers.
