I am pretty knowledgeable about chakra healing and shadow work, and I must say that Delphina Woods did a great job on this book! I especially enjoyed her shadow work prompts. This is a great read for beginners and non-beginners alike!.

I enjoyed this book and thought it was well put together. The topics within each chapter are clear and comprehensive. Each chakra/chapter includes lessons and themes, common reasons for blockage, signs of imbalance, the shadow, healing methods and tools, exercises (e.g., journaling, affirmations, yoga) and a visualization meditation - basically everything you need to work on healing your shadow self.

The only reason for my 4-star review instead of 5 stars is because I feel that some key crystals are missing from the healing methods and tools sections in each of the chapters. Perhaps this was done intentionally due to lack of availability or prohibitive cost of some crystals.

All in all, I found this audiobook to be a valuable enough resource that I purchased a hard copy as well!

This audio book was amazing!! Very well written with modern quotes and current situations. Loved how detailed each section was with examples on each chakra and how to unblock with diet, essential oil, crystals, meditation and yoga. I had always wanted to know about shadow work but didn’t know where to start. This book really helped me understand and get excited about shadow work.
Really enjoyed every part of this book and would definitely be one I would listen to over and over.

It was a very informative read. I learned a few new methods that I would keep doing in the future. Shadow work is very new to me and it was explain to easily understand what it is and how to use it recently. Would definitely listen and read again to continue to improve myself.

This was very well done and easy to apply for anyone, even beginners with Chakra/ Shadow work. I love the way she applies Shadow work and Light work together to make an easy way to balance both. This is something I can actively reread and reference back to once completing the whole book and working through imbalances I find I have in the chakras that I feel are blocked. Each one has well-explained common blocks and different resources including journal prompts, crystals, foods, essential oils, affirmations, and yoga poses to aid in healing imbalances. It's a book I recommend frequently to anyone on their healing journey as an amazing resource. I have this in the audio companion and kindle version to be able to switch between both.

Definitely for Beginners

If you already have an intermediate understanding of the chakra system and shadow work, then this book may not be for you. It does not deep dive into either subject, but does go in-depth enough to establish a basic understanding for those with little to no previous experience with the chakras or shadow work.

Though not a beginner myself, I did like how the information was portrayed, and appreciated that the author did include the origins of both the chakra system and shadow work. I also liked how the author brought the two together, making one cohesive practice for healing.

The exercises a simple [not to be mistaken for easy considering what may or may not come up during shadow work], straight forward, and easy to follow. Since the copy I had was the audiobook, it make the guided meditations easier than if you were to read them.

In summary, I would recommend this book for beginners looking to work with both the chakra system, as well as shadow work. But would not necessarily recommend to someone that is looking for a deep dive into either subject.

It's a lot. And you really gotta know what you're trying to do. Gonna need to reread and definitely implement the exercises .

This book had so much information that I am going to listen to it a few more times and take a lot of notes. I really liked the meditations following the main information in each chapter. I listened to this as an audiobook, but feel it would be extra beneficial to have a hard copy to follow along with and take notes. The journaling prompts are very helpful too. Thank you for writing this book!.

really insightful, so much useful information to integrate shadow work and chakra clearing. i enjoyed that the book provided a background on the shadow as well as different ways imbalanced chakras can manifest in ailments across all bodies.
