I enjoyed this audiobook.
It is crammed with ways to get prepared to go into the trucking business and to keep on top of the financial end of the business. I like how the author brings out that understanding the commercial driver’s license (CDL) industry and how to succeed in it is only part of it. This book will also teach you smart financial moves which will give you a leg up over your competitors.
It has easy to follow directions on how to simplify and organize all the paperwork, information,
and recordkeeping to run your business. This book will help you avoid mistakes and tell you what to look out for to
lessen the stress of running a business. A very useful audiobook for any trucker looking to go into business for themselves.

Accounting is a critical foundation for a strong business operation. This book will teach you how to square away your trucking business finance and how to do your balance sheet. I learn about the basic accounting terms and how to do basic bookkeeping. Improving your financial literacy will only benefit your business and even though I'm not in a trucking industry, the knowledge I learn is applicable in other business types.

This was a great tool for those in the trucking business. The author goes above and beyond to share all of his accounting knowledge when it comes to running a trucking business. I appreciated the section on how to keep your business running smoothly no matter what as well as the organization section. Sometimes when running your own business things get crazy and fall through the cracks but this gave me some great tools to help avoid that.

Recommend this book for those already in this business but also those starting out. Very insightful!

I bought this book for my bf who has only just started investing in trucks. It was a big commitment to our finances and it was really daunting if not petrifying to not understand how to manage our finances properly. I am rubbish with numbers and have always left it cluelessly to an accountant but this book has been a great listen for both of us. I have learned SO much! The tips on reducing taxes are invaluable and the chapter on keeping track of your finances has been super useful. We both feel we have a lot more confidence after listening (& taking notes) from this book...and the workbook included is an added bonus! This book is aimed at the truck industry, although it is a wealth of knowledge in terms of helping out any small business. I am very grateful I listened to this!

Great audio! I gained more confidence from this audio book than I did my college Accounting classes. The handy workbook allows you to see the weight of the financial loads come to balance.

The most important part of a business is knowing where every dollar goes and being able to mange each one...i love that this book points out the fact that if you dont know if your costs are being covered by your prices your business will surely fail! The system offered here is easy to understand and implement. The part on simplifying records and organizing them is a life saver especially if you get audited. Great book!
