Not sure what happened in this book. It was interesting and very poetic. I think the poetic aspect was distracting from the story

The male reader is so good and does a good job overall delineating the different characters, although I’d still like to hear it with a full cast. The female reader is not as good and sounds like she was recorded in a cave.

The book is a lot of fun, but the tragedy is also fully developed. The variety of poetic styles used by the different characters is effective, sort of Shakespeare meets hip hop. It’s a great fit for audio.

Fresh look at an ancient story . I loved the author’s take on the character of the Minotaur. The performers were spot on. I highly recommend this for teens and adults. There is a lot of bad language and subject matter that make it inappropriate for younger kids.

I wish this book were longer but it's perfect as it is -- which is another way of saying I will listen to it again.

You'll never think about Asterion, aka The Minotaur, the same way again.

I usually try to read a book on kindle before listening on audible….. I’ve had a life long hearing problem…. So I read first in case I hear incorrectly…..

My recommendation to all you fine folks out there is….. forget that! I tried reading first and frankly got tangled up in all the poetry….

But when I LISTENED to the audiobook…. OH MAN! It shines! Give yourself a treat….. buy this puppy and laugh your way through ….. if you’re familiar with Greek mythology, you know they all die miserably in the end….. it’s WORSE than opera….. but here at least you can enjoy the show!
