This was a cute listen and the storyline was awesome. I think it shows slowing down is sometimes necessary for a good outcome! The character interaction is spot on.

Boyfriend Freeze is a fun opposites-attract romance featuring sweater vests, a charming grandma, and an ill-timed dating hiatus. After a disastrous drunk-text to his ex, Ollie swears off dating and all it entails for 60 days. Naturally, he meets the guy of his dreams the next day. Graham has promised his family he'll be open to dating, but he's always preferred the company of books. When Ollie gets a job at the library, sparks (and well-placed poetry verses) fly. Boyfriend Freeze manages to be a slow-burn with the pacing of an exciting romp, and the audio narration is particularly enjoyable.

Ollie’s been a hookup guy, but finally realizes he wants more. So, he decides to be celibate for 60 days, and to knuckle under and focus on school and working at the school library.

He makes fun of Graham, a grad student who works at the library, and is more interested in book boyfriends than finding a real one.

But Ollie is snarky and sweet, and their relationship grows. Even when Ollie shares his resolution, Graham is willing to wait the 60 days, and they finally have their date and declare their love.

Sweet story, a slow burning romance, with Ollie growing and Graham coming out of his shell. A good, light read.

DJs writing is so amazing. I just love the way she weaves these stories of young men falling in love with each other. Graham was superb - intelligent, introverted, dreamy. Olly was a tad annoying but I’m so happy he overcame that quality and became better all around. The slow burn, burned slowly! But it was so worth it. Their relationship is so precious. I’m happy Olly took the step back he needed, so Graham took the step forward he needed.

Darcy was a dream. His narration was awesome. So cute.

This book was highly enjoyable once I got past Ollie's initial bit of being a selfish jerk. This story is about learning who you really are and realizing that you deserve love and to be treated with care. Ollie is not very lovable at first and his initial meeting with Graham doesn't go over very well. But things change quickly as Ollie realizes that he wants to be better, which is what his vow was rally about in the first place. Darcy Stark also has a great narrative voice and brought these two characters to life.

I listened to the audiobook. I’ve read this author before. This is a mm romance story set in a USA College. Main characters are Oliver a freshman and Graham a senior who works at the college library. Ollie is lose, vane and snaky. Graham is nerdy, but when Ollie takes a self imposed break from men, he find himself and Graham. Great story and I’ll read more from this author.

This was an adorable and fun college romance! Graham is an introverted, socially awkward librarian and Ollie is what he calls himself a slutty twink! Ollie has made the resolution to change this right before he meets sweet nerdy Graham! Ollie is rude when they first meet, and it was lovely to watch them become close! Lots of funny thoughts about how Graham dressed and how Ollie was so full of snark and still horny all the time. Graham's love of books was over the top and Ollie's library fantasies were hilarious... and hot! The best part was that neither of them drastically changed themselves. They fell for each other the way they were! They embraced their differences and this broadened and brightened both of their worlds! Darcy gave a wonderful narration! He gave Ollie all the right sassy snark which really brought this listen to life! This was a perfectly paced love story of two very different young men falling for each other!

I have to say this was my first book by this author and I actually loved it.

This was a sweet story.

The premise was interesting and the plot execution was commendable

I really loved this book it was great a New Years resolution led to a great romance between two unlikely people and the time the resolution made them take led to a great connection with them getting to know each other and the narrator was awesome and I loved both their snark and ability to help each other get out of their own heads

If you like over-the-top bratty, flirty types that blurt out whatever they are thinking then this is perfect for you. A light, happy, college-age romance with lots of banter and button-pushing.

I don’t love that type of character, so Ollie isn’t my favourite, but it has nothing to do with the writing, the story is cute and fun and flows well. I do like Graham, slightly awkward, geeky, but steady and loving. He is my type. And I enjoyed the way they embraced each other's characters and love one another for it, not trying to change them. So if you find yourself drawn to those types of stories and characters then I have no doubt that you will really enjoy this story.

Narrator Darcy Stark has a great voice for these young happy characters, bringing them alive and capturing the light, low angst story.
