Esi is young, beautiful, and smart. She's got it all...and then some, but it's not what you'd expect.

This is a beautiful story! The romance and love clearly shows in the characters. I found myself fully engaged and emotionally invested. Excellent story line, characters, and narration.

Oh this book! It makes you think things are one way and then you realize what you thought is not correct. This book is about finding your true love. It is both happy and sad. Esi and Carter have been dating for 7 years. It is told in the present by Esi and the past by Carter. Esi and Carter have their dream wedding. On their wedding night they are in a terrible wreck. Then everything changes. Worth reading.

This was the first book I've read/listened to by K.S. Thomas. It was not what I was expecting. I didn't realize there would be a paranormal aspect to the story. I want to relisten to this and see if the story hits me differently. It was a bitter, sweet story that tugged at my heart. The romance was perfection. DEFINITELY not your typical HEA type romance.

Olivia Candocia did a really good job narrating. It wasn't quite like the audiobooks I'm use to listening to. It sounded like she was in a hole, maybe? I did get use to it. I heard her clearly. Just not the norm. She was easy to listen to in one sitting.

Beautiful, heart wrenching, romance. Esi and Carter deeply in love. But love can be bittersweet. Their wedding day was perfection until it wasn't. Surviving, finding strength in her loss. I fell in love with this beautiful, emotional story. The author uses flashbacks, it was very well done. Tissues are needed for this emotional story.
Olivia Candocia told this story with so much emotion. I felt all the anguish, angst, love, of each and every character. Well done.
