 Beyond Death is a collection of poems that I wrote when I heard of so many people dying from various diseases, car accidents and violence related murder. I sat down to pray and ask God to search me and show me my heart. I asked God also to show me where I and my child need to repent of our sins. I also asked God to use His Holy Spirit to help us to prepare for the coming our Messiah, LORD Jesus Christ. The Bible says the “power of life and death is on the tongue”. Whenever I meet with people I talk about the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ, some are Christians, some have given up on their faith. I get encouraged by those Brothers and Sisters in Christ who are standing no matter the trials and tribulations they go through. Death has killed many people in a short period but we don’t give up on our faith. Neither do we join the broad way that leads to destruction. In these trying times it is important to find brethren who encourage us to focus on Jesus Christ. Our emotions are not willing because they are in our souls which agree with the flesh to feed it with sinful acts. We have to submit our spirit under the Holy Spirit of God on a daily basis. To study the Word of God and ask God to give us understand with the help of Holy Spirit who dwells in us. To love each other it’s a choice. I grew up in a family without love and had to learn to love people. Recently I spoke to a Sister who said “I hate him!”. Someone offended her and she wanted to justify her hatred for him. Our LORD Jesus Christ while on the Cross suffering pain beyond human imagination said in Luke 23:34 “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.” The Word of God was relevant back then and will always be relevant because it contains the mysteries of God. In these poems I speak about life Beyond Death. Now like never before it is important to think of our Salvation on a daily basis. If I had to die where will my soul go to? Am I right with my Creator? We are meeting so many challenges on a daily basis and have to make choices on a daily basis like never before. So as you read my poems I pray that God through His Holy Spirit will give you understanding and a desire to draw near to Him because God says JAMES 4:8 “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” Poesía Sincero Asesinato
