The series is set in a quaint and quirky town with colorful characters that bring the town/parish to life. I have absolutely enjoyed every book so far and plan to continue. This is my first audio book in this series and have enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend it!

This is an excellent book and audiobook. The narrator does an amazing job on the voices. She brings the characters to life. Have tissues available especially if you get the audiobook. Very realistic.

Great mix of romance, comedy and heartfelt moments. Had some real laugh out loud moments and some very tender high stakes moment. Lots if good on page romantic chemistry between the hero and heroine and fun supporting characters. The narrator was fantastic.

Switching from voice to voice character to character is done seamlessly. Bayou to Northeast, male to female, the listener always knows who is speaking.

This Deep South RomCom was very entertaining! Mythological swamp creatures, cajun superstition, and crazy small town life makes for some hilarious situations. It is a must listen!

Delightful fun story

This was a fun entertaining story. Part of a series but each book can be a stand alone. Roxy is struggling with what she really wants, being from NYC, a former member of an elite team,and now in a small Louisiana town, it always been about her career. I liked her very much and was happy to see her figure out what was important. Zeb too was a wonderful character. Their relationship was fun and endearing.

I love all of Lexi Blakes series. I have read or listen to them all at least twice. My only hope is that she starts a new series soon with new adventures in New love and lovers. Mmmm, and let’s not forget the pantie wetting in-depth sex scenes. 🤤
