The Fool is the most important card in the Tarot; he is said to be traveling through the deck as he travels through life. The Fool strides forward into a new world; he impulsively follows his heart and goes where angels fear to tread. Eyes to the sky, he focuses on his dreams--sometimes at great risk.

The Fool wears his heart on his sleeve, as he foolishly follows his passions with unrestrained delight; he lives in the moment, totally engaged and without expectations. The secret of the Fool is his innocence and simplicity, he trusts in his journey, and thus he carries nothing with him: his spirit unburdened and light.
