Acerca de esta escucha
Welcome to The Hip Replacement Podcast – a show by a hip replacement patient FOR hip replacement patients, their families and friends.
Whether you're preparing for surgery, in recovery, or just looking to move and live better — you're in the right place.
In this Episode, I shared the top 5 aches and pains I get, even 10-plus years after surgery. These include the front of my hips, IT bands, hip on longer leg side, knee on shorter leg side and most recently, ankle on the shorter leg side.
Know that you may have more control over the aches and pains than you initially realize. By identifying the origin of the pain and then taking action to minimize or eliminate it, you may likely return to living your best pain-free life. Working with a physical therapist or checking with your surgeon for appropriate exercises is recommended. If necessary, there may be videos online from credible professionals with exercises and stretches to address your needs.
Thanks for joining THE HIP REPLACEMENT PODCAST.
